Kiwi Avocado Smoothie Recipe

Avocado is amazing in all dishes and especially in smoothies it results in a creamy delight. I have tried many smoothies and absolutely love how filling the ones are with avocado. It also makes the most meanest greenest juice turn into a pleasant experience. You can have this smoothy for breakfast or as a treat during the day. Try this wonderful recipe that Sylvia from Feasting at home has shared with us.

 

Ingredients: 

1/2 ripe avocado

2 kiwi peeled

1/8 cup lime juice plus 1 tablespoon

1/8 cup – 1/4 cup *Almond milk

Honey to taste (always make sure that you use raw honey as most honey bought in the shops are irradiated honey, which in short makes it sugar syrup)

2-3 ice cubes

Directions: 

  • Place liquid in the blender first, then add your fruit and ice.
  • Cover and start on low sped, increasing to high speed.
  • Blend until creamy and smooth.

 

* soy milk, coconut milk, aloe juice, fruit juice can be used as an alternative to almond milk
